Casa del Roccolo is a strategic point to reach wonderful places in a very shot time. You can start directly on foot from Casa to reach beautiful mountain lakes and malgas, where you can stay in close contact with the animals and delight your palate with typical products such as the famous Casolet, Speck, Tortei de patate, Strudel and many more!
Casa del Roccolo provides a practical and comfortable barbecue in a typical and equipped wooden cabin that you can use to make unforgettable grills. Val di Sole is also the mountain bike paradise, here took place several stages of the World Cup and many World Championships. A single trek passes in front of Casa del Roccolo, a path really appreciated by lovers of downhill and mountain biking. There are bike trails for all tastes, from the most challenging ones at high altitude to the wonderful cycle path that crosses all the valley along the river Noce. Very useful also the service of bike transport that can take place both with train and bus.
The river Noce is considered the best river in Europe for rafting. Do you want to experience the thrill of riding the waters of the river on a raft? Or, if you love fishing, you can enjoy searching for trouts and precious arctic chars.
Val di
Sole can count about 100 lakes and endless watercourses between springs,
streams and rivers. There are many walks along the waterways: from cycle
path, to walks in the woods with the suggestive wooden bridges built to cross
springs and streams, up to wonderful mountain lakes. Water is one of the
characteristic features of Val di Sole, that has been able to appreciate it
also for health with the thermal baths of Rabbi and Pejo.
Val di Sole offers routes suitable for all tastes: you can find hundreds of km of trails for all
levels, from simple naturalistic excursions to scenic paths until high altitude
hikes through majestic peaks. There are also different chances to visit our
territory: in addition to walking the various paths on foot or by bike, you can
use the lifts open also during the summer to take you comfortably to the
altitude and enjoy a breathtaking view without to much effort.
Casa del Roccolo offers also a relaxing holiday. The forest that surrounds it is ideal for those who want to relax in the cool shade of majestic firs. Around Casa there are many plants of blueberries, wild strawberries and raspberries and it's wonderful to go looking for them and then taste their intense flavour. Or you can enjoy searching for various types of herbs and discover their properties, there are many activities that Val di Sole proposes in this regard. For those who love mushrooms instead, equip yourself with a nice basket and... good search!
In Val
di Sole there are endless opportunities to get in close contact with farm animals:
along the cycle path you can find some piglets, see them up close and feed
them, or find several cow stables. There are many activities in favour of the
discovery of animals, such as living a close-up experience with donkeys, or get
on the horse at the stables
In our valley there are countless museums located at different altitudes in the area: we can find wonderful interactive museums in small valley villages, beside mountain lakes and even at high altitude. They focus on various topics and range from historical/cultural themes to the discovery of mountain animals. What better chance to learn more about our territory?
Finally, there are many activities and places dedicated to fun for both adults and children. Equipped parks and dedicated workshops where to touch and manipulate firsthand!

Do you want to be pampered in a wellness center or take a dip in the pool? We have agreements with Luna Wellness Hotel in Folgarida for the SPA CENTER (sauna, turkish bath ...) and for the swimming pool.
Do you want to live the experience of biking in the mountains or on the cycle path? We have an agreement with Ski Rent Folgarida Sport in Folgarida for the rental of Bike and E-Bike.
